MAKE YOUR OWN GEAR Paintball Grenades OK first of all this can lead to a major mess with a bit more trial and error I will improve the method used for filling grenades but for now I will stick with using a flavor injector filled 4 times for each grenade. And suffer many cramps in my hand as I try to keep the grenade from leaking while filling it. First of all you need to make the paint of old paintballs can be melted down but this is a stupid way of doing it try making your own you will need. 8 cups of water 8 Tbs. of corn starch And one ounce of washable none toxic paint. Boil all three together until it starts to thicken remove from heat it will thicken more as it cools. When it is cool you can start making grenades.
The supplies needed for making a grenade. Some sort of tubing Rubber or latex. Pins for the grenade I was lucky I had some pins from real grenades improvise if you have too. Green ornament hangers to wrap one end of the tubing so it does not leak (good luck). After that use the flavor injector to put paint into the tubing making sure you have a good grip on it or you will end up with a mess these nade can spray paint over 20 feet so be careful the first fill is always the easiest and get progressively harder. Then use the pin to cover the open end of the tube this is not an easy task either. But when your done you will end up with something like this.
This was the first grenade I made it worked well just had to be careful so it did not spray me when I pulled the pin. On latter grenades I loosely wrapped an ornament hanger aground the top of the tube after bending it back around the pin. See example below.
Its hard to explain the exact process but we will have a video walk through shortly showing all the steps.
