STAR TREK ANNIHILATION

Story: On Stardate: 59736 (Earth year 2382) On a distant planet, An alien vessel crashes on the surface.

The Naren and the Drew had lived in peace for many years after the short war between them. The Naren had left their violent and bloody homeworld to seek a peaceful, uninhabited world on which to live. Unfortunately, the world they chose for its isolation and sensor blocking atmosphere, was already inhabited by a mysterious race that did not want company. A war ensued, which soon reached an impasse, and an agreement. The Drew would allow the newcomers to stay, as long as they lived in clearings, and not in the forests which were occupied by the Drew. The Naren could travel through the woods, but only in limited numbers. If they traveled in groups that were too large, or tried to settle in the forests, the Drew would quickly destroy them, and that was not an empty threat. Also, if any others, whether they be Naren, or any other race, came to this world, the Drew's patience would not last long. And If the Naren allied themselves with them, then they too would be destroyed.

It was on this world that the alien ship crashed, spreading wreckage over a large area. The survivors of the crash, strange cybernetic organisms that appeared to be linked together into a single collective consciousness, immediately began gathering pieces of their wrecked ship and building some type of beacon that would break through the atmosphere's interference. The Naren sent a two person party to observe and perhaps make contact with the new intruders. Only one returned. He reported that the aliens touched his comrade, and immediately he was one of them. About this same time, a small ship landed nearby, and its occupants made contact with the Naren. They claimed to be from a planet called earth, which was a part of a large Federation of many planets. They said that these cyborgs were dangerous and that they had been following their ship. when it crashed, they came down to destroy any survivors.

Team 1 CyBorgs: Your mission is to complete and activate your beacon. You are missing three components which you have detected in three different areas. Sensors indicate that each area is occupied by different life forms. Further information is unavailable. Proceed with caution. 1. Capture the 3 missing parts. 2. Assimilate or destroy any resistance. 3. Do not allow your beacon to be destroyed.

Team 2 Starfleet: Your mission is to destroy the Borg before they can activate their beacon. If possible, make contact with the local populations and attempt to enlist their help. 1. Destroy the Borg Beacon. 2. Make contact with locals and try to enlist their help. 3. Do not allow the Borg to remove any wreckage from your area.

Team 3 Naren: You must decide what to do. If you do nothing, these cyborgs will assimilate or destroy you. If you oppose all newcomers, you will stay on the good side of the Drew. If you help the Humans, when the Drew's patience runs out, you will be destroyed along with the aliens. 1. Defend yourselves and your area. 2. Decide who to have as you r allies. 3. If you choose the Drew, hold out as long as you can until the Drew act. If you choose the Humans, destroy the cyborgs so that the Humans can leave before the Drew run out of Patience.

Team 4 Drew: Wait until your Patience runs out, then destroy the newcomers, and their allies. 1. Observe the Newcomers. 2. When your Patience (pre determined) runs out, destroy them. 3. If the Naren ally themselves with the newcomers, wipe them out.

Borg Hit, should be called when the first one is hit. Suggested times for each team to kill them after first hit. Starfleet, 1 minute. Naren, 45 seconds. Drew, 1 ½ minutes. If the borg touch any live player, even up to 15 seconds after the borg has been shot, the touched player dons borg tape and becomes a part of the borg team. Starfleet: Starfleet personal have a shield that can take only one hit anywhere, after that normal medic rules apply. The entire team is a medic. Starfleet also has a doctor who can only be killed/ assimilated by hitting/touching a patch on his left shoulder. The doctor can revive dead players if he arrives within 15 seconds of death. The doctor can not approach to close to e the borg beacon due to interference. Naren: two hits anywhere to kill a Naren. The Naren have two medics on their team which can wipe off first hits, and bring Naren back if hit on arms or legs. Drew. The drew cannot be killed by markers in the woods. Once outside of the wood line, three hits to kill a Drew, no medics. All hits are undone by returning to the woods. Only grenades can kill a Drew in the woods. 3. Special circumstances: Borg cannot use grenades. Starfleet Doctor cannot approach Borg Beacon. The Drew can observe any combat area from the woods during combat. An added twist is that if more than a set number of Starfleet or Naren enter the wood line at once, the Drew can attack on site. not required.

4. Rules of play: Area setup is the same as for Stargate scenario. Play is turn based. The dice are rolled to determine how much patience (how many turns) the Drew have before they attack. Only the Drew and ref. know when they can attack. Each team starts in their area (large open area for Naren, heavily wooded for Drew, small open area for borg and Starfleet) and decides what their first communication and move will be (example, Starfleet decides to communicate with Naren, Borg decide to attack Starfleet, etc.). Communication is done before each turn, by roll of the dice or other random pick if more that one communication is desired. One rep from that team goes to the entry to the other team area and talks to them, then returns. Then turns are taken in order decided by random means. Each team may decide to attack another team (with the exception of the Drew until their Patience is up), or defend their area.
